WIFE of the Nigerian President Aisha Buhari unveils NLNG vessel in South Korea

Aisha-504x284 WIFE of the President, Mrs. Aisha Buhari has unveiled a new vessel, the LNG ABUJA 11, acquired by the Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG).
At a ceremony in Seoul, South Korea on Thursday, she said the acquisition of the new vessel was an additional impetus to the growth of export related businesses that will improve revenue generation for nigeria .

She praised the gains of the good working relationship between Nigeria and South Korea which she observed was in line with the goals of the present administration of furthering the development of human capital and job creation.Aisha2-504x284

Mrs. Buhari expressed confidence that despite challenges in the global energy sector, Nigeria and South Korea will continue to occupy important positions with respect to international energy security and development.
She noted that although Nigeria is undergoing a process of transformation for improved quality of life of the people, it has become necessary to provide avenues for businesses to achieve their full potentials to compete grow and deliver long term value.
“I stand by this principle because that is how great countries like south Korea were built,” she stated.
The wife of the President commended the NLNG for the new stride, nothing: “nothing makes me proud than the knowledge that Nigerians and Nigerian companies actively participated and benefited directly from the construction of the new vessel.”


Mrs Buhari emphasized that “the ship has Nigeria written all over it” and  expressed hope that participating companies in the sector will continue to export materials to shipyards across the world to highlight the potentials of Nigeria in every shore for increased economic development .
According to a statement issued by her media office, the vessel which is billed for Bonny Gas Company, was built by Samsung and Hyundai Heavy Industries of South Korea with Nigerian local content that earned Nigeria more than $10 million.
