Nollywood actress, scriptwriter and movie producer, Allwell Ademola, known for her movie, ‘Adeda,’ has given movie fans, critics and the rest of the country what would be considered an insider perspective into the lives of celebrities and movie stars.
The actress, born in Ogun State recently revealed that majority of Nollywood actresses, directors, producers, scriptwriters and most movie stars are not as rich as the extravagant lifestyles some of them might have erroneously suggested.
She also added that as surprising as this might seem, piracy still remains one of the biggest challenges the Nigerian movie industry finds itself struggling with.
The plus sized actress who is also the grand daughter of the first chief justice of Nigeria,Late (Chief) Adetokunbo Ademola and a great grand daughter of Alake II of Egbaland said:
“Everyone wants to eat part of the cake because they assume we are millionaires… There is hardly nothing we want to do that we don’t have to pay people for yet pirates are killing us,” she lamented.
